MASTRING-S® Urine

MASTRING-S® is a specialised antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) ring, developed by Mast Group, designed for rapid, simultaneous, and standardised susceptibility testing of 6 or 8 antibiotics in a single device. Originally designed in the 1960s to facilitate the Stokes technique, it remains a widely used, convenient alternative to traditional individual antibiotic disc diffusion. Antibiotics included within this MASTRING-S® includes: Ampicillin 25μg, Chloramphenicol 50μg, Colistin Sulphate 100μg, Kanamycin 30μg, Nalidixic Acid 30μg, Nitrofurantoin 50μg, Streptomycin 25μg, Tetracycline 25μg
